What size ice machine do I need?
As a rough guide, allow 0.5–1kg of ice per cover per day in a restaurant, more in a busy bar. Use our Find My Machine tool or request expert advice and we will size it precisely.
What is the difference between cube, flake and nugget ice?
Cube ice is hard, slow-melting and versatile — ideal for bars and restaurants. Flake ice is soft and great for food display and healthcare. Nugget ice is soft, chewable and loved in soft drinks. Gourmet ice is for premium presentation.
Do all ice machines need a drain?
Most do. Many use a gravity drain; where gravity is not available a drain pump is required. The drain type is listed on every product page.
Is installation included?
Installation is not included unless explicitly purchased. Water, drainage and power must be ready and a qualified installer used where required.
Can I request a quote instead of buying online?

Do prices include VAT?
Prices are shown both ex VAT and inc VAT throughout the site so you always see the full picture. VAT is 20%.
How quickly can machines be delivered?
In-stock machines typically dispatch in 2–4 working days. Lead time is shown on each product.
Do I need a water filter?
A water filter is strongly recommended — it improves ice quality and protects the machine from scale, which is excluded from warranty.
